I call myself The Nifty Illustrator (A.K.A. celina garcia-leoni) and am a self-taught artist and animal lover from London (UK).

I enjoy creating characters & imaginary worlds using bold lines and vibrant colours.

My illustrations are hand drawn using pen and paper, then painted with acrylic or digitally coloured using adobe illustrator. My 3-d artwork is handmade.

creative projects keep my hands busy and my mind engaged, and have helped me through some difficult times. I have lived with depression for many years and my artwork continues to play a therapeutic role in my life.

i work for an animal welfare organisation and like to spend time with my rescued dogs.

My creative icons include: Charles Schultz, Sir Quentin Blake, Tove Jansson, Roger Hargreaves and edward gorey.

i’m also a huge fan of the creators of morph and grew up watching the legendary tony hart.
